SKILLED NURSING consists of a wide range of services performed by licensed professionals, who have dedicated their lives to the care of others.
This service is brought to you in your home and is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
These nurses are there to monitor your health conditions, evaluate and assess in order to report any significant changes to your physician, to teach and give you the knowledge you need to better understand and stay on top of your disease or illness, and also explain any concerns you or your family members may have.
Skilled nursing also involves direct services such as wound care, catheter care, post surgery care, tube feeding, pain management, diabetic management, and blood pressure monitoring, including provision of supplies such as gauze, cotton, band aids, surgical and/or wound dressing, gloves, irrigation solutions and oxygen when ordered by the physician, considered reasonable and necessary to the plan of care.
